Jaclyn Grubin studied at Academy of Art University in San Francisco focusing on Production and Visual Development for Animation. She designs environments and the characters within the worlds she creates and makes sure they fit into a scheduled pipeline.  Her style is expressive and impressionistic having few details in focus to have the viewer discover their way through her pieces. She wants the complexity and the simplicity of her creations determine the storyline and profile for her audience. She also freelances in illustration and fine art painting with pieces that reflect the immediate nature and the interaction between people and their environment.
